Home at last.

I haven't disappeared of the face of blogland but I've had an eventful three weeks.

Week one. Oh no!!! the dreaded Flu. I've been boasting to everyone that I've not had a cold for about three years then suddenly, a tickle in my throat, then a bit of a cough then....i'm feeling sooooo... ill.
It lasted for two whole weeks.
After 10 days I had a call from my friend in Winchester who asked me to her house for the weekend. As it's miserable being 'Home Alone'' with the remnants of the Flu virus I was delighted. We had a wonderful few days and she really spoilt me.

This is a view of the city through one of the old city gates.
My friend runs a fabulous  Boutique  B&B in her home so if you are visitng Englands first capital city check them out.

Next off to Knitting and Stitching in London.
It's held at Alexandra Palace which sits high on a hill with amazing views across the capital.
This is the City with Canary Wharf.

Here you can see the Gerkin and the Shard.

Isn't Ally Pally a fabulous building.

My classes were all well liked so all my efforts were worthwhile
and I met some lovely ladies.
I've had some wonderful feed back too.

Finally I loved this!
Have a wonderful week I'm bust getting ready for winter fairs now.

xox Angela.

Ahh Angela, so many people around here with flu and colds I think it is our hot, hot week and now the really cool spell! I would have loved to have popped in to see you at Alexander Park. When I am not working I live a short buss trip from Alexander Park. :( Maybe next time you are doing classes I may be able to book a space. Keep me updated!

Pleased to hear that you had a good time at Knitting and Stitching. We have another month to wait here in the north of England for the Harrogate show. I love the needlewomen's rules.

Hi Angela, I wondered what happened to you. Sorry to hear that you were down and out with the flu so long. But glad to hear all is well now, that you had a lovely visit with a friend, and that your workshop went so well. Best wishes for the rest of the week. Tammy

Hi, I am your new follower. I found you through Tammy's blog. Both of your blogs are absolutely lovely, the backgrounds so pretty. They really "talk" to one. Nice to find someone on this side of the ocean, I am located in Germany.
Have a lovely weekend, Debby
