Polly Pumpkin.
I've seen pumpkin head dolls all over lots of blogs and wanted one for myself. I spent ages thinking about how she should look....... and here she is meet Polly....
I'm pleased with how they all turned out now it's down to the paperwork for the class...
It's wet, windy and cool here today, Autumn is here...
Have a great week.

She's been busy in her pumpkin patch and has just begun to bring in her harvest...
She is going with me when I teach at Cowslip next Friday.
I'm teaching the ladies one of my dolls, "Lavender".
Here she waiting to go...
"Lavender" works in the lavender fields and smells lovely....
I wanted to display my dolls and found a couple of wooden dolls beds in a local junk shop. I painted them with Annie Sloan paints and then waxed with scratch cover polish to age them...
The first one is a rocking cradle with "Abigail 1682"....
and this one holds "Simple Pleasures"...a selection of primitive dolls and a "Lost and Found" bear.
The little quilts I've made a while ago but are just right here.
It's wet, windy and cool here today, Autumn is here...

so cute and sweet she is, your Polly- and so is Lavender-the ladies will love making her.
I also have small old beds around with sweet dolls inside- and love them :-) your quilts are so beautiful, I made a few, but never had the patience to patch work a lot.
A shame as it so adds to the cosynes, and even more here in autumn....here we also have lots of rain and cold.
My sweet ones are home again, with mom and dad, as you read on my blog- and I miss them, even I also love to have a bit of time for myself again!
Now I have to start all the christmas sewing for my shop...
I enjoyed your post very much ,dear friend.
Hugs and love,
Dorthe
