Vintage angel.

Here's 'Betsie' is my latest vintage angel, I made her for my final class of the year at Cowslip.

She is a simple soul who sits by the unfinished quilts. Each night she picks up the lost pins, hides loose ends of thread and straightens any crooked stitches.
She is always smiling as she goes about her tasks.....

and is never lonely as she has her little wood mouse 'Bertie' with his big ears and long tail. They love all the chores.

Wouldn't you love her to help you.

I had a wonderful day with my students who were a joy to work with, we gossiped and laughed, I do so love my job!!

This is a quick look at a finished book for a fellow blogger to give to a friend.

  I won't reveal inside until it's reached it's destination.
have a peaceful Sunday.

Aah! Wouldn't we all love an angel like "Betsie" to help out in our studios and be there just for company to chat to like when we need to make a decision about something we might be working on!
She is a real sweetie in her pink dress and pretty hair.
Love your new little lace sewing book too Angela - such beautiful lace you have used on the cover!
Thanks dear friend for your very kind comment left over my pink wrap.
Hope your Sunday is filled with joy!
Hugs from sunny downunder,
Suzy

Hello Angela, Betsie is such a cutie and who wouldn't like to have such a helpful angel around. I love little Bertie too. What a sweet mouse.
Your book is beautiful as well and will make the recipient very happy.
Have a wonderful week!

Julia

Hi there Angela. You have such a vivid imagination -- naming and giving a history to your sweet little creations. I love hearing of their stories. Betsie is so very pretty and her little mouse too cute. Love that little sewing book, too. I'm contemplating leaving my job -- I don't like the culture of the front office. Folks who have been there forever and don't do much of anything at all. I much prefer to be productive in my work day and yet I wind up doing more work in an hour than they do in a week. It's too much sometimes. I don't make any money as it all goes straight back to the school to pay for tuition for my kids. My husband says I have to change my view on it all and just be happy that my money is going to the kids education. But when all my money and all my time is given to the school and I'm getting nothing back, I feel like I am being taken advantage of. I would much rather give them my money and use my time for charity purposes. Hope you have a fabulous Friday. Tammy
