A Double Celebration.

My lovely grandaughter Freya is going to be 3 years old just two days after the birth of her new baby sister. So two precious little girls to celebrate.

Freya is a delight and so much fun, her fairy name is 'Rain Reedward', so I made her a fairy outfit to play in.
A pair of blue green butterfly wings.
A fairy tutu with lots of net and blue organza........
and a wand to wave some fairy magic!!!******

She's having her party next Sunday before her new sister arrives, it's going to be such fun.

I have just finished the babies quilt and here it is.

I'm pleased with how it's turned out. I've used big stitch hand quilting in lovely soft cotton thread, mostly yellow with a little bit of red to contrast.

So you see, two things to celebrate next weekend. Watch this space for the party pics.

This  post is part of a  bloghop so pop over and say hello to Laurie at www.inkingaroundtheedges.blogspot.com who is next on the list.

You'll need the letter 'i' to help you win a prize, hop to all the blogs for all the letters. Thanks to Sandie at Itchi Fingers for organising the fun having the giveaway,

xox Angela.

Oh Angela,
both of these are future heirlooms!
Lucky little girls.
My little French granddaughters adore anything fairy and have a great stash of wings, wands, dresses and tiaras to play with.

You are a superb quilter too - a very special baby gift.
Love
Shane
