Work in progress!!

I'm stitching furiously at the moment with several things on the go.

My newest Grandaughter will be arriving at he end of June, so I am making her a bright and summery quilt.

I've just finished the piecing and the applique and here's how it looks.

I've lots of hand stitching to do now ready for the day she arrives. I'll be with them all as I am helping with her big sister. I'm starting to get excited already!

I can't ignore my Etsy shop while all this is going on so I made some vintage style Pin Keeps today.

This first one is for someone special, I hope she likes it!!!
The front  has a 'hold together', A pretty decorated clothes pin.
Inside is a pocket and a book to hold needles amd pins.
I used an old quilt which I cut up and coffee dyed along with some bits of lace, all tied up with hand cut and dyed silk ribbon.

These two will be going in my Etsy shop soon.

See you soon with more 'Work In Progress'.

Hugs, Angela.x

Hi Angela, This is the prettiest baby quilt I've ever seen! The appliquéd flower pots, birds and butterflies are so beautiful. I also love your choices of fabrics and colors. What a wonderful welcome gift to your little granddaugther.
Your pin keeps are fabulous and shouldn't last long in your Etsy-shop. The soft colors and sweet details are just lovely.
Have a wonderful day!
Warm wishes and hugs to you,
Julia

Hey Angela :)
Your quilt for your grandbaby is SO pretty!! My little grand-daughter is 6 months old already..time goes so fast!
I really did enjoy getting away for a few days..even if it was just to a hotel and some shopping. You know what's funny? I didn't buy a thing during all that shopping until we went to IKEA on the way home...THEN I spent some money! lol I actually had to buy a couple of bookcases, so I knew ahead of time what I'd be getting..it was so fun and those meatballs were yummy! (and I never eat them at home either! lol)
Have a great week my dear
Missy :)

Beautiful baby quilt! We are expecting our first grandchild in a week or two and can't wait. I made a quilt already. But my DIL wanted brights, which I usually don't do, but I wanted to make it the way she wanted.

I just discovered your blog and will be thrugh your older posts. I just love doing that!
