I'm nearly ready for the party.

I'm as ready as I'm going to be after moving house ten days ago.

Here's my cottage in the beautiful Somerset countryside in South West England.

My sitting room looks lovely in the morning when the sun gives this pretty effect.
I love to sit in the window seat and chat on the phone. See how thick the walls are.
I've just about been able to start some work upstairs but it's going to be a while before everything has a place, meanwhile my stock is in these boxes.

My wonderful Bernina sewing machine is fresh from it's annual service all set up and ready to stitch.

My cutting board is already cluttered....

and the iron is at the ready.

So without further ado Welcome to my new home and Thank you for taking a peak at my creative space.

Happy birthday to Karens Where Bloggers Create party.

I hope that you get settled into your new home quickly, and that you managed to avoid the rain today - I'm over in Hampshire and got soaked going out with my boys! Thanks for the tour of your studio.
