Mum's teacups.
This set of six teacups and plates were my mothers pride and joy along with here collection of pianos.
The fruit is hand painted and the guilding is 22ct gold.
I believe she bought these in the early sixties from Sheffield market.
They had pride of place in a beautiful georgian glass fronted display cabinet and only used for very special occasions.
I'm posting to welcome my friend Jilly to the world of blogging. She has a booth opposite mine in The Old Salerooms in Wellington. Pop over and see her and be ready to enjoy a cup of tea.
Now I'm of to my Etsy shop to fill the shelves a little having sadly neglecting it for a while.
Here's a sneak peak...
A pretty covered box to keep your treasures in....
and some lovely combs for summer hair.
I'll be linking with Marthas tea cup Tuesday.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Your mother's treasures are lovely. The pianos are amazing, and the tea cup is gorgeous. I love the gold design around the edges and really love the fruit inside. I have a trio very similar...my backstamp is a gold crown with Bone China, Made in England underneath in gold letters.
I have yet to determine the manufacturer.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Terri
